Logo Design and Branding
Logo design has always been a passion of mine and was one of the main reasons I became interested in graphic design. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide range of identity and branding projects with some amazing clients and creators. From Fortune 500s to nonprofits, my experience have been diverse and rewarding.
Design for Higher Education
I’ve worked with clients in the Higher Education sector for more than 20 years designing for colleges and universities — everything from identity programs, admissions packages, and anniversary celebrations, to college magazines, advancement materials, and campaign communications.
Print and Packaging Design
From product brochures to magazines to admissions materials for colleges and universities, my print experience is rich and varied. I’ve long believed in the power of the printed piece to entice, influence, and guide the reader in ways no other medium can. The powerful combination of the written and the visual in an tangible format, can be a uniquely personal experience.
Website Design
Digital design has become the primary vehicle for customer and client communications. Working with clients on web and electronic media projects are unique experiences that afford me to opportunity to delve deep into the ethos and messaging of clients. I’ve worked on some very exciting web projects for a wide range of customers and always enjoy the process of discovery, planning, design, and execution.
A Walker in the Evening
I had the pleasure of working with author Nick Owchar, designing the cover and book layout for his debut novel, A Walker in the Evening. The story is described as a gothic tale set against the backdrop of two distinct locations: rural Galicia (Ukraine) and cosmopolitan London in the early 1900’s. It’s a great read full of history, mystery, and suspense. I highly recommend it!
I’ve included the village map art I created as well as the audiobook cover art. The cover painting is called “Evening in Ukraine” (1901) by Konstantin Kryzhitsky. Published by Ruby Violet–Publishers, it’s available on Amazon as a paperback, ebook, or audiobook.

I just completed a project designing the California Jobs First Regional Report for the County of Los Angeles. The 160-page report details LA County’s plan for job growth through investment opportunities. Covering seven target sectors, the report details strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the regions economic future.

Taking a few weeks off trying to decide what’s next for Project Logo. In the meantime I’m keeping busy working with a budding artist on some sidewalk chalk projects. Thanks for the inspiration Rae Rae.
